Lünen Experiences a Thrilling Crime Spree at the Blood Lip 5 Festival
The much-anticipated Bloody Lippe Crime Festival is set to return for its fifth edition on September 8, 2025. This year, Lünen will be represented with three events, marking the first time it cooperates with the Lünen Cultural Office.
The festival kick-off will take place on Wednesday, 30 October 2025, at 7 pm in the Bürger-Bücherei-Brambauer. Festival director Hartmut Marks and author and publisher Magnus See will lead an interactive and entertaining event, setting the tone for the festival with short stories.
On the same day, author Doris Oetting will read from her new crime novel "Decision on Norderney" in Gahmen. The event is free, but registration is required through the Lünen Cultural Office. An interactive crime quiz will round off the event.
Gahmen will once again play host to Doris Oetting on Thursday, 13 November 2025, where she will read from her crime novel "Decision at Norderney" at Bürgerzentrum Gahmen.
Lünen's cultural scene will also witness the "Crime and Wine" event with Isabella Archan. On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, at LÜKAZ Lünen, Archan will read from her crime novel "The Serpent of Sirmione". The event includes wine tasting of five suitable wines presented by Bernd Molitor. Tickets for this event are available at the Lünen Cultural Office, LÜKAZ, and online via Pretix. The cost of entry is 30 € (25 € in advance).
Throughout the festival, German-speaking crime authors will transform various locations along the Lippe into fictional crime scenes.
