Celebrating 75 Years of Formula 1: Goodwood Festival of Speed Returns in 2025
Get ready for an exhilarating event as the Goodwood Festival of Speed returns to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship. Mark your calendars for July 10-13, 2025, as this iconic event takes over the picturesque West Sussex estate.
This year's showcase promises to be more spectacular than ever, with the event's elements divided into six 'overarching categories' to tell the story of the sport. Previous attendees include racing legends such as Sir Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Mika Häkkinen, and Niki Lauda.
The heart of the action will be the F1-themed paddock, where the world's fastest cars will gather. Over 80 cars will take on the West Sussex estate's famous 1.16-mile 'Hill', aiming to break the current fastest hillclimb record of 38.09 seconds.
Rosie Paterson, the Digital Content Director & Travel Editor of the platform, will be at the helm of this year's event. Rosie joined the team in July 2014 and has edited special issues and coordinated the platform's own 125th birthday celebrations.
Tickets for the event are already on sale and can be purchased online. The names of the drivers planning to attend have not been released yet, but one thing is for sure – the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 is set to be an unforgettable celebration of Formula 1's rich history and exciting future.
