Lukas Reichel, a German ice hockey player, made history for the Chicago Blackhawks. The 22-year-old forward scored his first NHL double and recorded three points in a single game, leading his team to an 8-3 road win against the St. Louis Blues.

Reichel's journey to the NHL began in his home country, Germany. He honed his skills under the guidance of the Eisbären Berlin coaching staff in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) before being drafted by the Blackhawks. After making his NHL debut in the 2021/22 season, Reichel spent his first two years primarily playing for the team's AHL affiliate.

He then struck again at the start of the second period, extending the Blackhawks' lead to 3-2. Reichel's third point came from an assist on the 8-2 goal, as the Blackhawks pulled away for a convincing victory.
