Lübeck’s ‘Handball for All’ Unites Players of Every Age and Ability

The Hanseatic City of Lübeck is hosting an inclusive 'Handball for All' action day on Friday, November 14, 2025. The event, part of the 'Moving Together—From Young to Old' initiative, welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy movement exercises and handball games. TuS Lübeck 1893, VfB Lübeck, and Lübeck 1876 are among the participating clubs.

The action day runs from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Meesenhalle. It begins with friendly matches between participating clubs at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. At 5:30 PM, a large-scale open handball game starts, inviting anyone, regardless of age, experience, or physical ability, to join in the fun. Throughout the event, various movement exercises will be available for participants to enjoy.

The initiative is supported by the Possehl Foundation and funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung. It aims to promote inclusive structures and create shared spaces for community life. Admission to the event is free, with no registration required.

The 'Handball for All' action day in Lübeck is an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to come together, enjoy the joy of movement, and foster social interaction.
