New Look for Motorhome Manufacturer Bü rstner: Only 3 Series Left Out Of 15!

Let's dive into the shake-up happening at motorhome powerhouse Bü rstner - coming out clean with a mere 3 model series left standing! That's right, bye-bye to 12 series as the Erwin Hymer Group-owned brand sets sail on a bold new direction.

What's the story, you ask? Well, keep reading, my friend!

This transformation, unprecedented in the caravanning industry, will mesmerize you. On their way out are all 15 model series and their 48 unique floor plans for motorhomes - except for any remaining stock at dealers.

A Fresh Start for Bü rstner

So, you're wondering why such a drastic facelift? It seems the brand strategy of the old guard wasn't cutting it, and industry vet Hubert Brandl, freshly appointed CEO last November, is stepping up to the plate. Brandl's bedtime reading as CEO of luxury manufacturer Niesmann, which he transformed into a successful Liner brand since 2005, is making waves at Bü rstner.

Brandl lays it all out: an overabundance of models without unique selling points, an excessive focus on compact urban campers, and a lackluster design. Bü rstner needs an extreme makeover – a big, bold cut with a new logo, a catchy new slogan – of course, in English – "Discover the Better," will be the catalyst.

Meet the New Bü rstner Lineup

Here's a sneak peek at what's coming later this year at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon (August 29 to September 7):

Bü rstner Papillon

The road warrior, Bü rstner Papillon, leads the recruitment. Based on the Fiat Ducato, this van's streamlined design and economical 120-horsepower diesel engine speak volumes. With its transverse bed that can fold high enough for two bicycles, foldable kitchen, and modular wet room options, Papillon transports simplicity and flexibility. Starting at an accessible 40,000 euros, Bü rstner Papillon will set off on an adventure.

Bü rstner Habiton

Stepping up to a six-meter box van, Bü rstner Habiton offers longitudinal single beds and a unique, patented slidable wet room. This innovative feature slides the wet room from the driver's side behind the spacious four-seater seating group towards the bed during the daytime, offering maximum versatility. Four different decors and various upholstery colors ensure that no two Habitons are alike.

Bü rstner Signature

The third offering, Bü rstner Signature, is designed with flexibility in mind. Equipped with a patented 90-degree rotatable seat bench, an extendable sideboard as a room divider, and a variable kitchen, this motorhome is a winning choice for part-integrated enthusiasts. An additional optional loft bed adds a cozy touch, while diverse decors, upholstery, and colors ensure maximum personalization.

Are You Ready for the Next Chapter?

To pique interest before the autumn caravan show, three special models based on the outgoing models will be introduced in July. These offerings boast generous equipment and attractive prices to tempt early adopters.

The road ahead may be bumpy, but the year 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting time for Bü rstner. Keep an eye out for more updates as this daring transformation unfolds!

Will the caravans follow suit? Only time will tell!

Stay tuned for the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon in late August, where we can get a closer look at these game-changing motorhomes!

Insights: The massive rebrand comes following the appointment of industry veteran Hubert Brandl, who was previously the CEO of luxury manufacturer Niesmann. The new strategy aims to address shortcomings pointed out by Brandl, such as an overwhelming product range and uninspired design. The new logo, slogan, and model names reflect the fresh direction of Buerstner. Expect a dramatic shift in advertising, as the traditional Wohnfühlen ("living or enjoying comfy feelings") slogan will be replaced by "Discover the Better." Buerstner will focus on streamlining their offerings, with a strong emphasis on quality and versatility.

  1. The new Bü rstner lineup will primarily consist of motor vehicles and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons, with some models offering unique features like streamlined designs, modular Kitchens, and patented sliding wet rooms.
  2. The transformation at Bü rstner, including a new logo and slogan "Discover the Better," seems to be inspired by the sports industry, with a focus on speed, agility, and the spirit of adventure, as reflected in the new motorhome models like the Papillon and Habiton.
