Lou Diamond Phillips is set to direct and star in 'The Ambulance Chaser', a legal thriller based on Brian Cuban's novel. Autumn Bailey-Ford is producing the film, which is envisioned as the first of a trilogy. The project has an exciting creative team and is expected to start production soon.

Phillips is thrilled about the film's production design, cinematography, and music opportunities. Wynn Thomas, who will receive an honorary Oscar this year, is on board as production designer, while Alan Caudillo will serve as cinematographer. The film follows Atlanta attorney Jason Fredricks as he navigates a complex web of corruption and betrayal in the city.

Finance for the project is currently being finalised, and a start date has yet to be set. Cuban, author of the source novel, is excited to see his work come to life on screen. The film will be produced by Autumn Bailey-Ford and is expected to be shot in Atlanta.
