Lost Dog Dara Found After 50-Hour Search, Reunited With Owners
A 13-year-old dog, Dara, was found after a 50-hour search in Dietmannsried. She was discovered near a stream in a forested area, where she would not have escaped without help from the Allgäu-Iller-Ulm Canine Rescue team. Dara was slightly hypothermic and dirty when found by the team, who worked tirelessly for two days using search dogs and volunteers to cover the vast forested area. The team found dog handler Annabel Wolfenstätter at the forest's edge, who then assisted in locating Dara. Dara's owners were overjoyed to be reunited with their beloved pet on Sunday afternoon. They immediately took her to the vet for a checkup, ensuring she received the care she needed after her harrowing ordeal. Dara's safe return is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of the volunteers and rescue team. Her owners are grateful for their efforts, which ensured Dara's survival and return home.
