Fender has announced a limited-edition signature model, designed to echo Speer's unique playing style and tonal preferences.
Speer, who prefers to say, "I play that guitar, not that I'm a guitar player", admits that he's extremely attached to his beloved instrument. With its early 2000s reissue, this Stratocaster boasts specific features that cater to his particular needs:
- Body: Select ash body in an Aged Natural finish, paying homage to vintage elegance.
- Neck: Custom “C”-shaped maple neck, offering a comforting, familiar feel.
- Fingerboard: Maple fingerboard with a vintage 7.25" radius and 21 jumbo frets for seamless playability.
