Wolke Hegenbarth, the star of the popular TV show "My Life & I", and her partner Oliver Vaid have recently become parents to a baby boy named Avi. The couple, who have been married for six years, kept their nuptials a secret until this summer.
Their wedding ceremony took place a few months ago, just before the birth of their son, who was three weeks early. The couple decided to have a private civil wedding with only their closest family, rather than their originally planned big wedding in India.
The unexpected death of their wedding planner in India, a close friend of Oliver's father, disrupted their plans. This loss affected them deeply, both emotionally and logistically, making it impractical to hold the large celebration in India as scheduled. They have now decided to postpone the big Indian wedding, involving about 100 friends and family from Germany, to a later date after 2027.
Hegenbarth was nine months pregnant at the time of the wedding and the couple did not exchange rings at that time, planning to do so together with everyone at the Indian wedding.
In a recent "Gala" interview, the couple clarified their marriage details and plans for a second wedding in India. They emphasised that the reason for keeping their first wedding secret was to celebrate the second wedding in India in a grand manner, as originally intended.
The couple's son, Avi, was born into the marriage and the couple are looking forward to celebrating their union in India at a later date. The exact date for the second wedding is not yet confirmed, but it is expected to be after 2027.
