Long-range shooting seminar in 2025, hosted by GPO and AKAH, featuring the latest Spectra 8x 1-8x24i and 2-16x50i scopes and Steyr rifles, occurs at the Seetal Alps high plateau.

The German Precision Optics (GPO) has announced the launch of two new hunting riflescopes, the Spectra 8x 2-16x50i and the Spectra 8x 1-8x24i, set to hit stores at the end of July/beginning of August 2025. These innovative scopes are designed for hunters who rely on driven hunting and fast target acquisition at close range.

The Spectra 8x 2-16x50i, priced at €1,199, boasts a magnification range of up to 16x and parallax adjustment from 10 meters. It can be retrofitted with the GBT ballistic turret, a useful and affordable accessory priced at €89 (RRP). This turret allows quick reticle adjustment in 1 cm increments to 100 meters, equivalent to a 0.1 MIL adjustment, making it accessible for less experienced hunters.

The ballistic turret can be mounted on the new Spectra 8x models and the Spectra 8x 1.3-16x44i in a few simple steps, even in the field. It is designed for intuitive and reliable adjustment, ensuring quick reaction to changing shooting situations, whether on the shooting range or in hunting use.

The Spectra 8x 1-8x24i, priced at €999, offers high image sharpness right up to the edge, brilliant color fidelity, and high contrast performance. It is aimed at hunters who value clarity and precision in their optics.

GPO's focus on long-range shooting events is evident in the long-range event organised by GPO and its partners, taking place in the Seetal Alps in Styria, with the support of Steyr Arms. The event showcases products from GPO's portfolio, including new products such as the GPO Passion 16-48x65 APO and GPO Passion 20-60x85 APO spotting scopes.

Further information on the new GPO Spectra 8x 1-8x24i G4i driven hunting riflescopes, as well as the Spectra 8x 2-16x50i and the entire GPO product range, can be found on the German Precision Optics website and the Steyr Arms website. Additional information on the current Steyr catalog and GPO products can be found on the AKAH online shop.

These new riflescopes from GPO promise to deliver high-performance, exceptional image quality, mechanical precision, and versatility, making them an exciting addition to any hunter's arsenal.
