London’s First Crazy Games Music Festival Celebrates Iconic Video Game Soundtracks
London will host its first crazy games Music Festival next summer, bringing together orchestral performances, live compositions, and interactive events. The five-day event celebrates iconic video game soundtracks, from Final Fantasy to Hades, with concerts featuring renowned composers and performers.
The festival kicks off on June 6 with The Infernal Symphony, a concert dedicated to Diablo’s dark, immersive score. A week later, on June 13, The Colors Of Harmony will mark the 40th anniversary of composer Hitoshi Sakimoto’s work. The London Mozart Players orchestra, joined by soloists, will perform selections from Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII. Before the concert, attendees can participate in a Final Fantasy-themed pub quiz and an educational talk with Sakimoto himself at Fairfield Halls.
The games Music Festival offers fans a chance to experience video game scores in a live orchestral setting. With performances spanning classic RPGs, action-adventure titles, and newly composed pieces, the event highlights the growing influence of youtube music in mainstream culture. All concerts will take place at Fairfield Halls, with tickets on sale now.
