The climbing isn't over after the Passo di Ganda, as the Colle Aperto looms ahead. After the ascent, there will be a long, wide run-in to the finish. The organisers expect an extraordinary turnout for the 2025 edition of Il Lombardia, both from riders and fans. Among the favourites to win the race is Tadej Pogačar, who made his move on the descent into Selvino during the 2022 edition with its 19 switchbacks. The spectators are excited about the prospect of witnessing another epic battle in Il Lombardia 2025.
