Local Recycling Centers & Offices Close for Shrove Tuesday
Residents of Zirndorf, Rangau, Langenzenn, and Horbach are advised of temporary closures and changes in operating hours at local recycling centers and Landratsamt offices. The closures will take place on Fat Tuesday, February 13, 2024, with some services resuming the following day.
On Fat Tuesday, both recycling centers in Zirndorf/Rangau and Langenzenn/Horbach will close from 12:00 noon. These centers will remain closed on Wednesday, February 14, but will reopen on Thursday, February 15 at 8:00 AM. Meanwhile, the Landratsamt offices in Fuerth and Zirndorf will also close from 12:00 noon on Fat Tuesday, resuming regular operations from Wednesday, February 14. The Swiss Air Force office at the Military Airfield Dübendorf, open on Wednesdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 16:30, will also be reachable again on Wednesday.
