New Head of East Police Station Announced

Frank Marienfeldt, a seasoned police officer with over three decades of service, has taken over as the new head of the East Police Station in Dinslaken. The announcement was made by County Commissioner Ingo Brohl on August 19, 2025.

Marienfeldt, who is 58 years old, began his career in 1983 with the Federal Border Guard before joining the police force of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1990. Most of his career has been spent in Wesel and Dinslaken, where he has held various positions within the Polizeidirektion Wesel before being appointed as the head of the East Police Station.

The East District, under Marienfeldt's leadership, includes the cities and municipalities of Dinslaken, Voerde, Hünxe, and Schermbeck. Marienfeldt expressed his enthusiasm about his new role, acknowledging the significance of the responsibilities associated with his position.

As the head of the East Police Station, Marienfeldt is the regional contact person for all police matters in the area. County Commissioner Brohl believes Marienfeldt's extensive experience makes him an ideal candidate for leading the police station.

Marienfeldt has been married in his private life and has two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys building model trains. For media inquiries, please contact the Press Office of the Circular Police Department Wesel at Phone: 0281 / 107-1050, Fax: 0281 / 107-1055, or Email: [email protected].
