In the bustling city of Magadan, a stir was caused last month when a local resident filed a complaint about a gnarly issue – false information concerning a housing debt. The Prosecutor's Office, always on the lookout for justice, took up the case and delved deep into the matter, as reported to our humble abode by the Magadan Regional Prosecutor's Office.
It all started back in March 2025, when the "Magadan Social Center" received some faulty data from PАО "Magadanenergo". This piece of info, passed through the GIS JKH, was incorrect on several counts, painting a lady – the breadwinner of a large family – as a judicial debtor for housing and communal services.
As a result of this misinformation, the lady's hard-earned payments for these expenses were unfairly halted. But fear not, because the wisdom of the Prosecutor's Office prevailed! After carefully reviewing the matter, they took steps to rectify the situation. The lady's rights were swiftly restored, and the payments were rightfully resumed.
To make up for the wrong that was done, a compensation of over 8,000 rubles was generously awarded to the lady, covering two whole months of trouble.
