Liza Soberano makes an appearance in the recently launched video series titled 'Can I Come In?'
In the upcoming episode of the cinematic video series "Can I Come In?", Filipino actress Liza Soberano shares her intimate and vulnerable journey in an unscripted conversation with host and director Sarah Bahbah. The episode is set to be released on August 14.
"Can I Come In?" is the brainchild of Palestinian Australian artist Sarah Bahbah, who refers to the project as "cinematic therapy" and "sacred chaos." The series delves into themes of intimacy, self-worth, and raw storytelling, providing a safe space for women to share their stories, encouraging vulnerability and healing.
Liza Soberano's episode is no exception. She discusses her past, including childhood abuse, foster care, and her experiences within the entertainment industry. She also talks about her relationship with Enrique Gil, a former love team partner, and the pressures she faced in the public eye.
Sarah Bahbah collaborated closely with Liza Soberano to create this episode, serving not as a therapist but as someone holding space and gently prompting. The episode is described as a vulnerable exploration of Liza's life, where she expresses her desire to no longer seek approval from others and instead prioritize self-love and acceptance.
The series, which is a "podcast-cinema-documentary hybrid," also features unscripted narratives from women such as Mia Khalifa, BANKS, Nemahsis, Yesly Dimate, and Cindy Kimberly. It aims to promote empathy and understanding, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and relationships.
Liza Soberano's involvement in "Can I Come In?" is part of her expanding presence beyond the entertainment industry. She has previously participated in thought-provoking creative series and summits, such as the Nexus Summit in New York and the Asia Summit.
Sarah Bahbah expressed her excitement for the project and thanked @wepresent for believing in the vision. She emphasized that Liza Soberano deserves all the love in the world. The "Can I Come In?" project is a fusion of art and emotion, offering a unique and powerful platform for women to share their stories.
