The weather forecast for Germany over the next five days indicates a continuation of the persistent heatwave conditions in early to mid-August, followed by a brief interruption with cooler, wet conditions.

Monday, August 18: Maximum temperatures around 28–32 °C are expected, with unobstructed sunshine in large parts of Germany and occasional passing clouds in the north.

Tuesday, August 19: Quite sunny weather with temperatures climbing close to 30 °C.

Wednesday, August 20: The arrival of a low-pressure system brings cooler weather with heavy rain and thunderstorms, especially in northern Germany. Temperatures may drop below 20 °C in some areas.

In the southern half, there's a moderate east wind, while in the northern half, there's weak wind from different directions.

On Thursday, the highest values will be between 29 and 38 degrees, cooler by the sea.
