Live Updates on Arsenal Transfers: Viktor Gyokeres declines meeting, RB Leipzig set steep Sesko cost, Lewis-Skelly agrees on contract extension

Arsenal have their work cut out in the 2025 summer transfer window, focusing on beefing up their attack, particularly the striker position.

Reports suggest they're after Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko. Gyokeres, currently at Sporting Lisbon, is apparently eager to join either Arsenal or Man Utd but has no meetings scheduled with Sporting to discuss things. The Gunners are considered frontrunners for the Swede striker, with his current holiday location in Saint Tropez throwing some uncertainty around his future.

On the other hand, RB Leipzig values Sesko at between £68.4m and £85.5m, and as of yet, Arsenal haven't made a bid. However, they see him as a cheaper alternative if Gyokeres proves too costly.

In case they miss out on Gyokeres or Sesko, they're also keeping tabs on Ollie Watkins should they lose out on Gyokeres.

Meanwhile, Myles Lewis-Skelly is close to inking a new deal at the Emirates, having been a breakout star last season. The teenager was quick to rise from the Arsenal youth team to the England squad in a matter of months.

With a hectic start to the season ahead, Arsenal face trips to Old Trafford and Anfield before the transfer window shuts. Mikel Arteta is keen to secure a striker and winger ASAP before the pre-season trip to Singapore and Hong Kong in late July.

Stay tuned for all the latest transfer updates from the Emirates!
