The cultural scene in Little Tokyo is set to be enlivened with the upcoming concert, "Visual Euphony: Animation & Music." This unique event, taking place on January 13th and 15th at The Aratani Theatre, is a collaboration between Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo Geidai) and the University of Southern California (USC).

The centrepiece of the concert is Antonio Vivaldi's timeless masterpiece, "The Four Seasons," which will be brought to life through captivating animations. The animations for each season have been created by talented artists from around the world. For Spring, Anna Budanova from Russia has crafted the visuals, while Atsushi Wada from Japan has brought Autumn to life. The animations for Summer and Winter will be presented by Priit & Olga Paärn from Estonia and Theodore Ushev from Bulgaria, respectively.

The concert on January 15th will showcase student talents from both Tokyo University of the Arts and USC. Yukino Nakamura, a student from Tokyo Geidai's Department of Instrumental Music, will perform as the violin soloist for Autumn. Thomas Mellan, a student from USC's Thornton School of Music, will perform on the chamber organ, and Kevin Hsu, another USC student, will play the viola. Stella Cho and Yuno Ambo, both USC students, will perform on the cello and viola, respectively. Tomoya Takamoto, a student from Tokyo Geidai, will play the double bass.

Sydney Mariano and Ririko Takagi, two students from Tokyo Geidai, will take on the roles of the violin soloists for Winter and Summer, respectively. Koji Yamamura will serve as the artistic director, with Takashi Kiriyama as the technical director, and Mitsuko Okamoto as the producer.

The concert promises to be a mesmerising blend of music and animation, offering a fresh take on a classic work. For those interested in the arts, this is an event not to be missed. For more detailed information, we recommend checking the official event page or press release.
