Live Music Festival Spans Over Three Days Inside a Cathedral
The city of Münster is gearing up for a weekend of music and entertainment as the annual "Münster Mittendrin" festival returns from August 11 to 13, 2025. Here's a rundown of the exciting lineup for the first two days.
Friday, August 15, 2025
The day kicks off with singer-songwriter Moe at 3:00 PM, followed by Ley's Band with their acoustic soul and pop tunes at 3:30 PM. At 6:30 PM, Kenitra takes the stage, bringing their soul, indie pop, and rock vibes.
The Australian DJ and producer Cyril, known for his international success with his new interpretation of "Stumblin' In" in 2023, will perform at 8:30 PM. The night continues with The Bluesanovas, delivering boogie’n‘blues at 10:30 PM. All performances will take place on a stage next to the Dominikanerkirche on Salzstraße, starting in the afternoon.
Elsewhere in the city, the Mannheim trio ClockClock will perform at the cathedral square, having reached the top of the German airplay charts with songs like "Sorry" and "Someone Else". Meanwhile, the Cologne band Cat Ballou will entertain the crowd with modern pop music and Cologne lyrics.

The second day of the festival promises an eclectic mix of music. Six Feet 4 kicks off the day at noon, followed by the Fats Meyer Revival Band at 1:45 PM. At 3:00 PM, Bloo Helix brings their funk, soul, and jazz sounds to the stage, while Skarage Band takes over at 4:00 PM.
Snowfall in June, an indie folk pop band, performs at 6:30 PM, followed by Canapé, a neo-soul, jazz, and funk act at 7:00 PM. At 9:00 PM, Mr Irish Bastard will take the stage, and The Gentle Keys, replacing The Clerks feat. Tommy Tornado, will perform rock’n’roll and rockabilly at 10:30 PM.
The Hamburg "Techno Marching Band" Meute will perform a unique mix of electronic club beats with brass and percussion at 11:00 PM. The night concludes with Cosmo Klein & The Campers, delivering soul and blues at 12:30 AM.
At the cathedral square, the Viennese musician Verifiziert will perform at 6:00 PM. The duo Blumengarten, known for combining warm pop sounds with poetic texts about friendship, childhood, and transience, will perform at 8:00 PM.

While the detailed lineup and times for Sunday have not been specified clearly, it is known that the event will feature rock classics. We Salute You, a detailed AC/DC tribute band from London, will perform at the cathedral square, staging their shows with original elements like hell's bell, Marshall wall, and cannons.
The Italian formation Break Free - Queen Tribute Show will recreate the legendary performances of Freddie Mercury and Queen at 8:30 PM. The entrance to the event on Sunday will open at 6:00 PM.

In addition to the music, the festival weekend will also see a protest in front of the CDU office in Münster "Clear stance against the right. Never again is now!" scheduled for July 23, 2025. The right-wing scene has also called for another demo in September.
