Berlin, the city of music, is gearing up for an exciting summer filled with a diverse range of concerts and festivals. From intimate jazz performances to large-scale urban festivals, the city offers something for every music lover.

Jazz enthusiasts can look forward to the XJAZZ! FESTIVAL, a celebration of jazz in all its facets, featuring intimate concerts and electrifying live sets.

For those who prefer electronic beats, the Home Again Club Festival and Feel Festival are the places to be, offering house, techno, and related styles.

Pop-Kultur 2025 promises a vibrant mix of pop and genre-bending underground music, showcasing indie, Afro Pop, EBM (Electronic Body Music), hip-hop, and more. The Feel Festival also features hip-hop and indie music alongside electronic music stages.

Lollapalooza Berlin offers a mix of "bold beats" and various music styles, typical for such large urban festivals.

Apart from these festivals, Berlin's venues are hosting several standalone performances. Imarhan, known for their desert blues music that relies on harmonization and drum work, will perform at Roadrunner's Paradise on July 27. Madalisto Band will perform at Haus der Kulturen der Welt on July 13 as part of the Sonic Pluriverse festival. Fia Fiell and Martina Bertoni will offer a night of classical inspired music with sweeping melodies and gentle music transitions at Kiezsalon on July 28.

Lia de Itamaracá will showcase the cultural heritage of Brazilian state Pernambuco through Ciranda music at Haus der Kulturen der Welt on July 20.

Gretchen, in Kreuzberg, will host several performances this summer. On July 10, Patrice Rushen, an R&B singer, composer, and pop-culture icon, will take the stage. On July 24, Céu will present songs from her new album Novela (2024) that combine trip-hop samba, jazz, and urban pop. Maria Sena, with over 4 million monthly listeners, will perform her Brazilian pop music on July 31.

Yelka & Mieke Miami will perform together at Gretchen on July 17, with Mieke Miami debuting her new jazz and classical album and Yelka performing for their record release show.

Kim Gordon, former Sonic Youth bassist, will perform at Festaal Kreuzberg on July 6 with her second solo album The Collective. The Peruvian duo Dengue Dengue Dengue will perform at Haus der Kulturen der Welt on July 4 as part of the Sonic Pluriverse festival.
