Cologne / Nurburgring, 23rd June 2025 - NITRO smashed it with a stunning 27 hours 45 minutes broadcast marathon of the "ADAC RAVENOL 24h-Race" at the Nurburgring! Beating the official world record for "the longest TV broadcast of a live sports event," they set a dazzling new record. RID record judge Janine Mehner was on duty at the Ring to verify the record and awarded NITRO the prestigious RID record certificate on the spot. The official entry into the RID record books will follow shortly.

The record-breaking journey commenced on Saturday, 21st June 2025, at 13:00 and concluded on Sunday, 22nd June, at 16:45. Hostess Laura Papendick and Nurburgring sensation Dirk Adorf, who provided insights from pit and race, led the show. Their dynamic team included motorsport experts like Lina van de Mars, Eve Scheer, Alessa-Luisa Naujoks, Marcel Klein, who delivered live updates that brought the electrifying 'Green Hell' atmosphere straight into viewers' homes.

Even before the event, the qualifications' coverage on RTL+ sparked intrigue - with the triumphant, record-setting broadcast, NITRO raised the bar in sports coverage.
