In the lead-up to the October legislative elections in Argentina, several notable figures have made headlines for their statements and actions.

Lisandro Almirón, the candidate for governor of Corrientes by La Libertad Avanza, has spoken out about the importance of making informed decisions in Congress. Almirón compared the difference between voting based on personal beliefs and following orders to that of being able to explain one's actions and standing up for what is best for the country, versus simply avoiding debate.

Meanwhile, Cristina Kirchner has reportedly rejected Axel Kicillof's repeated requests to place four allies in prominent spots on the list of Buenos Aires deputies for the October elections. The reasons behind this decision remain unclear.

Raul Biaggioni, known as "Larry de Clay," has expressed his disappointment with the current state of the country and called for a nation that supports small and medium-sized enterprises, national industry, commerce, and employment for people with disabilities.

In a separate development, Javier Alonso, the Minister of Security in Buenos Aires, has rejected the statements of former policeman Maximiliano Bondarenko, a libertarian candidate. Bondarenko has accused Alonso and Kicilloff of having the "worst security management in the history of the province of Buenos Aires." Alonso has since invited Bondarenko to file a complaint in judicial courts if he believes the government is responsible for the issues he has mentioned.

Itai Hagman has warned of an impending economic crisis and called for voting for Patria Force in the elections. Hagman believes that Patria Force is the only group that can effectively challenge the candidate Milei.

Leila Gianni, a candidate for councilor of La Matanza for La Libertad Avanza, has criticized Mayor Fernando Espinoza on her social networks, referring to him as "Fernandito."

In a less positive development, Sergio Roberto Álvarez, a candidate for councilor of La Libertad Avanza in Escobar, has resigned from the list after being charged with alleged sexual harassment against a teenager. A raid was conducted on Álvarez's house, ordered by the First Complex Crimes Office of Campana, and cell phones, tablets, and computers were seized at the scene.

Francisco Adorni, the candidate for first deputy of La Libertad Avanza for the Eighth Section of Buenos Aires province, has announced that he will eventually assume his seat in the provincial legislature.

Juan Manuel Urtubey has predicted that in 2027, a front including everyone from Cristina Kirchner to Lilita Carrio will be necessary, as they all defend an Argentina with rights.

Residents of Villa Celina have protested the lack of works in their community, carrying a banner that reads "Kirchnerism never again."

Updates have also come from other political spaces. Manuel Adorni has questioned candidate Margarita Stolbizer for her criticism of the Government. The candidate for Fuerza Patria in Tigre, Sebastián Rovira, has denounced that the municipality run by Julio Zamora is using public funds to cover up opposition posters.

Finally, Carlos González D'Alessandro, who was seeking to run as the first candidate on the list of La Libertad Avanza for San Luis, has been removed from the leadership of that party by the national authorities of LLA.

As the elections approach, these developments are sure to shape the political landscape in Argentina. Stay tuned for more updates.
