Giacomo Sagripanti conducts Rossini's effervescent comedy as the closing act for the Metropolitan Opera's 2024-25 Live in HD season. Russian mezzo-soprano Aigul Akhmetshina heads a winning ensemble as feisty Rosina, joined by American tenor Jack Swanson, Moldovan baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Figaro, Hungarian bass-baritone Peter Kálmán as Dr. Bartolo, and Russian bass Alexander Vinogradov as Don Basilio.
