Live broadcast of President Trump's Speech to Congress on Tuesday night
On Tuesday, March 4, ABC News will offer extensive coverage of President Donald J. Trump's address to a joint session of Congress and the Democratic response. The event will air from 9 AM to 9 PM EST on ABC and ABC News Live, and will be available on various digital platforms, including Disney, Hulu, and others.
ABC News Live will simulcast the network's pre- and post-show, as well as the address and response. David Muir will lead comprehensive coverage, previewing remarks, reporting on highlights, and providing analysis following the speeches. Muir will be joined by a team of ABC News correspondents, including Linsey Davis, Jonathan Karl, Martha Raddatz, Mary Bruce, Pierre Thomas, Rebecca Jarvis, Rachel Scott, Mireya Villarreal, Jay O'Brien, Elizabeth Shulze, and Alex Presha.
ABC News Radio will provide live coverage, anchored by correspondent Alex Stone, with national correspondent Steven Portnoy and White House correspondent Karen Travers reporting from Washington D.C. ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will be reporting live from Capitol Hill with ABC News multiplatform reporters Christiane Cordero and Nicole D'Antonio.
In addition to the live coverage, ABC News Digital will have wall-to-wall coverage, including a live blog with up-to-the-minute commentary, a fact check, and data-driven previews and reactions from 538. ABC News Live will also feature interviews with lawmakers from both parties ahead of the address.
For those who want a preview of the events, George Stephanopoulos will discuss Tuesday's events on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" on March 2. On March 3 and 4, David Muir will anchor special editions of "World News Tonight" from Washington, D.C., and "Nightline" will have a special edition on March 4.
ABC's award-winning programs, such as "Good Morning America," "World News Tonight with David Muir," "Nightline," "20/20," "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," "GMA3: What You Need to Know," and "The View," will cover highlights from the night before and provide analysis of the address and response on March 5.
