Live broadcast of President Trump's speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday
On March 4, ABC News will provide special coverage of President Donald J. Trump's address to a joint session of Congress and the Democratic response, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST. ABC News, America's No. 1 news source, will be led by David Muir, who will preview remarks, report on highlights, and provide analysis following the speeches. Muir will anchor special editions of 'World News Tonight' from Washington, D.C., and 'Nightline' will have a special edition on March 4. The coverage will be extensive, with ABC News platforms providing live updates across various mediums. ABC News Live will simulcast the network's pre- and post-show and the address and response. ABC News One, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will report live from Capitol Hill with Christiane Cordero and Nicole D'Antonio. ABC News Radio will provide live coverage, anchored by Alex Stone, Steven Portnoy, and Karen Travers. ABC News platforms include ABC News Live, ABC News Studios, ABC News Digital, ABC Audio, 538, and NewsOne. ABC News will also feature interviews with lawmakers from both parties ahead of the address on ABC News Live. Robust analysis will be provided once the address concludes and multiple special reports during and after the event. On March 5, 'Good Morning America' and 'GMA3' will cover highlights from the night before and provide analysis. 'This Week with George Stephanopoulos' on March 2 will preview Tuesday's events.
