Wiesbaden's Next Online Q&A Session with Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende

Residents of Wiesbaden have the opportunity to participate in an online Q&A session with Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende on Thursday, August 21st. This event, which will take place from 5 PM to 6 PM, will be broadcast live on the city's Facebook page (facebook.com/stadt.wiesbaden) and Instagram page (instagram.com/stadt.wiesbaden).

If you're not active on social media, you can still take part by sending your questions to [email protected] with the subject "Online Q&A" before Tuesday, August 19th, at 2 PM.

This will be the 37th such event with the Mayor. During the live stream, answers will be given directly in the stream, and citizens can type their questions in the chat during the session. The recording of the event will be available later on the city's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/StadtWiesbaden).

The trend towards online Q&A sessions has gained momentum with the pandemic. They offer several advantages: companies save on conference rooms and travel costs, cities save on travel, and citizens save time. However, this format does not replace personal conversations.

For those interested in future sessions, the city's official website (www.wiesbaden.de) is the best place to check for the schedule and process for asking questions. The next online Q&A with Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende is scheduled for January 21st.

The livestream will also be embedded on wiesbaden.de/onlinesprechstunde. Online Q&As bundle questions, avoid repetitions, and reach more people simultaneously, making them an effective way for citizens to stay informed and engaged with their city's leadership.

Politics and general news surrounding Wiesbaden's city administration can be followed through the city's online Q&A sessions with Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende, such as the one scheduled for August 21st. Future sessions can be found on the city's official website, with the next one scheduled for January 21st, showcasing the importance of these events in keeping citizens informed and engaged.
