Cyclists Conquer MyWhoosh Big Ride Challenge in 2025
The MyWhoosh Big Ride Challenge, a year-long cycling event that encourages riders to pedal their way to various mileage targets, has seen a number of participants achieving their goals in 2025.
The challenge, which offers four levels - The Mini, The Midi, The Maxi, and CW5000 - has attracted a diverse range of cyclists, from beginners to seasoned riders. Among the finishers are Martin Power and Simon Hickman, who completed the CW5000 challenge, having ridden an impressive 5,000 miles in a single year.
Alex Graham, a six-time participant, crossed the finish line on June 16, having completed The Mini challenge for the sixth consecutive year. John Binczyk, Justin Payne, Kevin Palmer, Dave Cox, Justin Lomas, Michael Padwick, Mark Pritchard, Gari Jones, Hugh Mulligan, and Ian Udell-Hart are among the other successful participants who completed their chosen challenges.
Steve Fletcher, another participant, completed The Mini challenge, riding 500 miles in a year. The Maxi finishers, who rode 2,500 miles, include Andy Cartlidge.
Participants can join at any time in 2025 and track their progress on the MyWhoosh platform, which offers badges, social rides, and monthly challenges to keep riders motivated. Signing up for the challenge is free, and upon registration, participants gain access to a private Facebook group and updates with monthly challenges.
To prove their mileage, riders can submit a screenshot of their ride logging site, app, spreadsheet, or CW mileage charts to the organisers. Finishers medals will be available soon, and participants will be notified when they're ready to order.
The MyWhoosh Big Ride Challenge aims to inspire cyclists to ride all year round, setting annual goals and smaller monthly targets.
