Lions team member faces an uncertain future.

In a recent development, Tino Casali, the former goalkeeper of Eintracht Braunschweig (BTSV), has left the club after his contract expired on June 30, 2025. The decision not to offer Casali a new contract was made after careful consideration of the goalkeeper position.

Before his departure, Casali was fighting for the goalkeeper position at Eintracht Braunschweig. He had been close to becoming the club's number one goalkeeper last summer, but an unfortunate setback occurred when he tore his cruciate ligament just before the start of the 2024 season. This injury kept him out for several months, and despite negotiations, Eintracht Braunschweig has stated that they did not extend their cooperation with Casali.

The injury also likely contributed to Casali not getting any further appearances for Eintracht Braunschweig. His only official match for the club was a 0:1 defeat against FC St. Pauli in February 2024. Notably, Casali's injury occurred after Ron-Thorben Hoffmann left for Schalke 04.

Benjamin Kessel, the sports director of Eintracht Braunschweig, stated that they wish Tino Casali all the best for his future. Despite the injury, Casali was not part of the Eintracht Braunschweig squad last season.

As of the latest information, Tino Casali is currently a free agent and has not yet joined a new team. There has been no announcement or report indicating which club he will join next after leaving BTSV. However, Casali has been linked with Austrian clubs Grazer AK and TSV Hartberg.

Eintracht Braunschweig hopes that Casali will soon find a new sporting challenge. We at Eintracht Braunschweig would like to express our sincere gratitude to Tino for his dedication and commitment during his time with us, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Casali's future in European leagues remains unknown, as he is currently a free agent and has not yet announced his next club. Previously, he was linked with Austrian clubs Grazer AK and TSV Hartberg following his departure from Eintracht Braunschweig.
