Limited Time Demo Event for Splatoon 3 taking place this Saturday; watch a more in-depth video showcase of the game too!
Nintendo has announced the release of the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere demo, available for download on Nintendo Switch. This demo event is set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT.
The demo includes a tutorial and a scenic tour of Splatsville, the game's vibrant and bustling city. It's a great opportunity for players to get a taste of the Splatoon 3 experience before its official release on September 9.
For those who don't have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, don't worry! Non-members can receive a 7-day free trial membership with the demo download. However, please note that the free trial automatically converts to a 1-month auto-renewing membership unless automatic renewal is turned off. The free trial code can be redeemed starting August 25, 2022, and must be redeemed before August 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
But remember, the free trial cannot be redeemed for a Nintendo Switch Online - Expansion Pack membership or by a Nintendo Account with an active Individual Membership or Family Membership. Also, for users who are 18 years old and above, a credit card/PayPal account is required for the free trial membership.
The Splatoon 3 Splatfest is a big event in the Splatoon universe where players join one of three causes and try to win in-game battles to champion their ideals. This time, the theme is the age-old question: Rock, Paper, or Scissors. Participants can choose between the voices of the characters Pearl and Marina.
