Your Year as Jungle Queen - Lilly Becker’s bold new chapter after ‘I’m a Celebrity’ victory
A year after winning 'I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!', Lilly Becker has opened up about the major shifts in her life. The former model and entrepreneur has moved back to Germany, taken on new professional challenges, and spoken candidly about her evolving identity beyond her high-profile past.
Becker spent 17 years living in London before relocating to Germany in August. The move followed her relationship with Düsseldorf-based sports manager Thorsten Weck, whom she has been dating since 2022. Her decision was also influenced by her son Amadeus’s German roots and her own professional ambitions.
Since returning, she has remained in the public eye. She appeared on the cover of 'Playboy Germany', framing the shoot as a statement of female empowerment. Additionally, she has taken part in TV events and secured a spot in 'Surviving Amazonas – The Shanenawa Challenge', an upcoming adventure documentary featuring celebrities.
However, her year has not been without legal challenges. A court recently ordered her to repay a six-figure sum—around €218,000—to a former business partner, covering the original debt plus interest and legal costs. Becker has since filed an appeal against the ruling.
Throughout these changes, she has emphasised her wish to be recognised for more than just her marriage to tennis legend Boris Becker. Instead, she is focusing on her career as an entrepreneur and her growing media presence in Germany.
Becker’s return to Germany marks a new chapter, blending personal and professional growth. With ongoing legal matters and fresh projects on the horizon, she continues to shape her public image on her own terms. Her next appearance will be in the 'Surviving Amazonas' documentary, set to air later this year.
