Lightning dominate Rangers with 3-1 road win in back-to-back sweep

The Tampa Bay Lightning secured a convincing win against the New York Rangers on November 29, 2025. The 3-1 victory marked their second straight road triumph in as many nights, capping off a successful back-to-back weekend. Brandon Hagel led the scoring with two goals, while the Lightning’s disciplined play limited the Rangers’ chances throughout the match.

The Lightning struck first when Brandon Hagel opened the scoring in the opening period. His goal came after Carson Soucy’s skate redirected the puck into the net. The team maintained strong defensive pressure, holding the Rangers to just a few scoring opportunities in the first frame.

The victory solidified Tampa Bay’s strong form in back-to-back road games. Their disciplined defence and efficient scoring proved too much for the Rangers, who struggled to generate consistent offence. The Lightning now turn their focus to preparing for the Islanders midweek.
