Prince Harry's Rocky Relationship with the British Royal Family: The Rollercoaster Ride Continues

Prince Harry has been keeping his personal life under wraps, not having an Instagram account like his wife, Duchess Meghan. To get a glimpse into Harry's life, you'll have to peek through Meghan's social media posts. The Duchess recently shared a romantic smooch, leaving fans curious about Harry's well-being.

In the UK, the tabloids aren't exactly supportive of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The royal couple has been receiving harsh criticism, especially due to several lawsuits. Meanwhile, Harry's older brother, Prince William (42), and his wife, Princess Kate (43), are enjoying growing popularity.

Strong opinions surface when discussing Harry - the fallen prince. The media overflows with headlines that make it seem like they're about to break all the news:

  • King Charles III Ignoring Prince Harry's Calls?
  • Prince Harry to Reveal Royal Secrets?
  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Crisis!
  • New Threat to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Peace!

None of the alleged revelations have been officially confirmed. The only confirmed fact is the tension between Harry and his father, King Charles III (76), whose cancer diagnosis was made public last year. The rift with the family is well-documented, particularly in Harry's autobiography "Spare" and a Netflix documentary series.

Recent turmoil surrounded Harry's drug admissions in his book, causing issues with his visa application when he relocated to Montecito, California. Some have accused him of making false statements about his drug past in his application, leading to lawsuits. The court files were published, but they provided little new information.

Two high-profile trials took place in London, one about illegal research methods involving the publisher of the "Sun" tabloid, and another regarding Prince Harry's security status in England. Harry is pushing to overturn the committee's decision that downgraded his security status after he stepped down from his royal duties, but a verdict has not been reached yet.

Controversies overshadow Harry's philanthropic efforts. He is the brainchild behind the Invictus Games, an international sports event for wounded soldiers, and a patron of various charitable causes. Harry and Meghan also founded the Archewell Foundation, which focuses on disaster relief and support for refugees.

In April, following a brief court appearance in the personal security trial, Harry visited Ukraine to see the "Superhumans Center" in Lviv. The facility helps soldiers who have been affected by the Russian invasion, providing prosthetics, rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery, and psychological support. However, the media labeled Harry's claim of needing British taxpayer money for protection, and then traveling to a war zone, as "ridiculous."

Charities aren't immune to negative press. A bitter power struggle led Harry and co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to step down as patrons of Sentebale. Allegations of bullying and a complaint have been filed. The UK's charity regulator is now investigating the situation, with Harry stating that the regulator will "uncover the truth that ultimately led to our collective resignation."
