Liam Payne's estate, worth a million dollars, does not include any assets for Kate Cassidy.

Rewritten Article:

Liam Payne's late girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, sadly finds herself bereft of any share in the ex-One Direction singer's estimated $32.2 million fortune, with everything going to his eight-year-old son, Bear.

The 'Night Changes' crooner, who passed away at the tender age of 33, left no will and his untimely demise occurred on October 16, 2024, after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

According to a close source, speaking to Page Six, the entire estate will be handed over to Bear, with no one else receiving a penny, not even his last girlfriend.

Reportedly, Cheryl, 41, has been appointed as the estate administrator alongside attorney Richard Mark Bray. British law states that, in the absence of a husband, wife, or civil partner, the deceased's child becomes the primary inheritor.

Sadly, neither Liam's parents, Geoff and Karen, nor his sisters Nicola and Ruth are expected to receive anything from his estate.

Westminster law suggests that as Liam left no will, his estate is being managed according to strict legal rules, with no provision for personal wishes or unique circumstances.

Previously, it was reported that Liam had set Kate up with a monthly stipend of $10,000 and granted her use of his credit card for additional expenses. Kate was known to indulge in frequent shopping sprees funded by the singer.

However, a close friend of Liam's clarified that Kate had her own financial resources and was not facing bankruptcy. According to the friend, Kate earns income through social media partnerships and would not be living a lavish lifestyle akin to her time with Liam, but she could manage to make ends meet.

Kate, who reportedly grieved Liam's death genuinely without dwelling on her financial predicament, began dating the late 1D star in late 2022.

In essence, Liam Payne, the former One Direction member, passed away without a will, leaving behind approximately £24 million to £32.2 million once debts and expenses were accounted for (British law). His estate primarily went to his only child, Bear, as per UK intestacy laws since Payne was unmarried and had no civil partner. The estate, managed by appointed administrators (Cheryl Tweedy & Richard Mark Bray), will be held in trust for Bear until he turns 18. The absence of a will has highlighted the importance of estate planning to ensure personal wishes are respected and to avoid potential financial and emotional challenges for the beneficiaries.
