Lexus Redefines Luxury with Futuristic Catamarans, Hubs, and Homes
Lexus has unveiled a bold vision for luxury beyond cars, showcasing concepts for land, sea, and air. The brand introduced an autonomous catamaran, a futuristic community hub, and an upscale residential design. Each project reflects a push into high-end, multi-modal experiences.
At the heart of the reveal was an ultra-luxury catamaran designed for crewless operation. The sleek vessel features a rigid wing sail wrapped in solar panels, ensuring sustainable power. Inside, passengers find large windows, a spiral staircase, and an eight-seat dining table for comfort.
The catamaran’s expansive rear deck offers space for relaxation, while its autonomous system promises smooth, high-performance travel. Lexus described the concept as part of its broader ‘multi-modal luxury vision’, blending cutting-edge technology with elegance.
Alongside the catamaran, Lexus presented the Lexus Hub—a futuristic community space merging retail, dining, art, and entertainment. The building includes a landing pad for Joby air taxis, linking ground and air transport. Its open, voluminous design encourages social interaction and innovation.
The brand also introduced Lexus House, a residential concept for remote locations. Tall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows create an airy, connected feel. The top floor is dedicated to showcasing vehicles, reinforcing the link between living spaces and mobility.
Lexus’s latest concepts stretch far beyond traditional cars, targeting luxury in travel, living, and community. The autonomous catamaran, high-tech hub, and remote residences all point to a future where the brand shapes experiences across different environments. Each design emphasises sustainability, innovation, and high-end comfort.
