Comedian Simon Gosejohann eliminated from 'Let's Dance' - Let's Dance shocks fans as Simon Gosejohann exits after week three
Simon Gosejohann and Ekaterina Leonova have been eliminated from Let's Dance after the third live show. The decision came following a public vote that placed them at the bottom of the leaderboard. Despite praise for his humour and effort, Gosejohann's performance failed to secure enough support from viewers or judges.
During the latest round, Gosejohann attempted a salsa routine that brought laughter from the audience. His comedic approach, however, earned mixed feedback from the judging panel. Joachim Llambi noted a hint of 'hip action' but criticised the overall execution.
The judges awarded Gosejohann just nine out of a possible 30 points, leaving him in last place. Motsi Mabuse acknowledged improvements in his posture and coordination but highlighted lingering weaknesses. She also praised Leonova's skill in making even struggling partners look good on the dance floor. After the public vote, the pair became the first celebrities to leave this season's competition. Meanwhile, Bianca Heinicke and Zsolt Sándor Cseke, along with Nadja Benaissa and Vadim Garbuzov, secured their spots in the next round. Past winners of *Let's Dance* include Gil Ofarim, Ingolf Lück, and Pascal Hens—all of whom previously danced with Leonova. The professional has won the show three times, most recently in 2019.
The elimination leaves seven couples remaining in the competition. Gosejohann and Leonova's exit follows a pattern where early departures often involve low-scoring contestants. The next live show will determine which pairs continue their bid for the title.
