Model and fashion entrepreneur Lena Gercke is set to join the German version of the popular business show "The Lion's Den" as a guest investor. The episode featuring Gercke will air on RTL+ from September 8, during the current season.
Gercke, who gained fame in 2006 by winning Heidi Klum's casting show "Germany's Next Topmodel", will join the regular panel of investors that includes Carsten Maschmeyer, Judith Williams, Frank Thelen, Dagmar Woehrl, and Ralf Duemmel.
In the show, founders present their inventions or business ideas and seek investments from the "lions". The investors ask tough questions and decide whether to invest money or not.
Gercke expressed her excitement about the format of "The Lion's Den" and stated that she went in with the attitude of investing if something truly appeals to her. She had a good initial impression of one project on the show and thought it could be a potential investment for her.
