Road Detours

  • The B2 near the Völkerschlachtdenkmal will be detoured via Prager Straße, Semmelweisstraße/Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße, Zwickauer Straße, and Richard-Lehmann-Straße. Please note that inbound traffic on Prager Straße remains open.
  • For drivers on Prager Straße, the outbound detour starts at Naunhofer Straße and follows a specific route.
  • Additional bypasses will be established along the race route.
  • Detours for the closures of Bornaer Straße and Güldengossaer Straße will be via Muldentalstraße → S242 → Liebertwolkwitzer Straße.
  • A bypass for the Gorbitzer settlement is set up on Chemnitzer Straße at Gorbitzer Straße/Höltystraße.

Traffic Closures and Reopenings

  • Full traffic closures will be in place by 8:45 AM. The process of reopening the roads will commence around 1:30 PM.

Alternative Transportation

  • Changes in bus lines 70, 75, 76, 79, and ALITA 108 will occur between 7 AM and 3:30 PM, as provided by Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe on [www.l.de].

  • Drivers are asked to observe no-parking zones and remove parked vehicles from the race route for safety reasons.
