Leipzig sports clubs call for community tree planting event

On a Monday yet to be announced, Markranstadt will see a collaborative reforestation project as sports clubs from Leipzig join forces with environmental organizations. The planting action will see around 3,400 beeches, linden trees, and elms take root, as members of RB Leipzig, SC DHfK Leipzig, and the Icefighters Leipzig, along with fans and interested parties, come together to plant the first saplings.
