In a whirlwind of unexpected events, the lives of the members of the extended Da Silva family have taken a dramatic turn.

The day Leonardo supposedly died, each family member has their own version of events, adding to the mystery that surrounds his disappearance. Odete, Leonardo's mother, has been less than forthcoming with the police, even going as far as lying about an attempted robbery.

Meanwhile, Raquel, Leonardo's sister, has accepted Ivan's marriage proposal, bringing a sense of stability to the chaotic family. Ivan, in turn, was encouraged by Bartholomew to pop the question, and Raquel's partner Poliana is fully supportive of the union. However, the couple is growing concerned as Odete sets up a meeting with Maria de Fátima, Leonardo's estranged mother, causing them worry.

As the family dynamics shift, so do the alliances. Marco Aurélio, Raquel's husband, claims the gun he possesses is for protecting his family, but Leila, Raquel's friend, discovers it hidden in his luggage, causing tension.

Fátima, Maria de Fátima's daughter, finds herself in a dangerous situation when Odete leaves her in an abandoned factory with a man named Celso. Fátima is terrified and posts a video on her profile, warning her followers that she left a message in an envelope to be read if she doesn't appear on social media anymore.

In another twist, Maria de Fátima asks Raquel for shelter, and Raquel, despite her initial reservations, allows her to stay in her house. This decision does not sit well with everyone, especially when Maria de Fátima blackmails Odete.

As the family grapples with these developments, some are seeking answers. Leila pressures AMADO to explain why he bought a gun, while Renato goes looking for Heleninha, Leonardo's wife, who has gone missing.

Heleninha, in a desperate bid for help, writes a letter and asks Ana Clara, a close friend, to meet her. She decides to go to this meeting with Jarbas, her brother. In the letter, she warns Ana Clara about her drinking problem and expresses her fear that she may attempt to take her own life.

Célina, Heleninha's aunt, finds the letter in the gallery and deduces that her niece may be in trouble. To ensure the safety of her nephews, Célina tells Esteban that they need to travel.

Amidst all this, there are glimmers of hope. Afonso, the troubled son, decides to resume treatment, and Maria de Fátima warns César about Leonardo and the danger he runs with Odete.

In a surprising turn of events, Ivan manages to knock Celso out, who collapses unconscious. However, Maria de Fátima finds that Celso has taken Raquel and Poliana hostage, causing further alarm.

In an attempt to end their long-standing rivalry, Odete and Marco Aurélio make a deal. The family, once united, now finds itself divided, with secrets threatening to tear them apart. As the story unfolds, it remains to be seen if they can find a way back to one another.
