The parliamentary meeting was attended by Igor Babayev, the head of the RF Ministry of Justice's department for Krasnodar Krai, as well as Sergey Usenko, the chairman of the Kuban Accounts Chamber.

The agenda included over 30 issues, with the first item being the consideration of Tabelsky's draft law titled "On Legal Education of Citizens in the Territory of Krasnodar Krai."

Speaking on the draft law, Tabelsky highlighted the objectives of state policy in legal education, namely: fostering respect for the law, curbing legal nihilism, and enhancing legal culture across the populace. In achieving these objectives, federal, regional, and local authorities partake within their respective spheres of responsibility.

Tabelsky's draft aims to regulate relationships in the field of legal education by clarifying terms like "legal education of citizens" and "subjects of legal education." It inserts the main principles, goals, and tasks of legal education, outlines the powers of regional authorities and other state institutions, and establishes a comprehensive legal framework for fostering knowledge of the law among citizens.

Burlaenko, the chairman of the ZSK, expressed support for the proposed law, as it will enable residents of Kuban to avoid legal mistakes born of ignorance, increase their legal awareness, and instill a strong sense of civic duty and adherence to legal norms. The law also clarifies the Krasnodar Regional Legislative Assembly's role in matters concerning legal education, with deputies pledging full support for its implementation.
