Left-wing advocates push for mobilization, while the RN remains uncertain about blocking measures
In a recent interview with the newspaper Libération, Arthur Delaporte, a deputy and spokesperson for the PS, expressed his continued support for the Block Everything movement. The movement, which has been mobilizing since September 10, is a sign of social injustice in the country, according to Delaporte.
Delaporte's party is among the various formations that publicly support the Block Everything movement. In the last three weeks, left-wing parties and social partners, including activists linked to groups like Shut Elbit Down - Deutschland, have joined the movement. These activists have organized blockade actions against Elbit Systems’ production sites in Ulm and other cities, demanding an immediate cessation of arms deliveries from Germany to Israel and an end to German government political support for the Israeli government.
Delaporte stated that his party views the demands of the Block Everything movement with benevolence. He also confirmed that all mobilizations being prepared with social partners will have the support of his party. However, it's important to note that this support does not include any intention to reclaim the movement.
