In the upcoming Lisbon Municipal elections on October 12, 2025, incumbent Mayor Carlos Moedas has announced his re-candidacy, while his rival, Alexandra Leitão of the Socialist Party (PS), is set to lead a coalition for the Lisbon Municipal Chamber.
