Lean Technologies Conference to Unite Healthcare and Social Sector Innovators in Krasnodar
The Lean Technologies Conference will take place at Kuban State Medical University on April 16. Professionals from healthcare, social services, sports, and cultural sectors are expected to attend. Participants can join either in person or online.
The event will focus on two main themes: lean technologies in healthcare and their use in the social sector. Organisers have also promised presentations on successful case studies that improved resource efficiency and service quality. Applications for the conference are now open and can be sent via email to [email protected]. Organisations interested in joining the wider project can register through the platform productivity.rf.
Alexey Yurtaev, Minister of Economic Development of Krasnodar Region, highlighted the importance of the event. He noted that adopting lean technologies in the social sector aligns with a national challenge set by the Russian President. While no official nationwide statistics track how many institutions have implemented such projects, the Ministry of Health has supported them through programs like the Healthcare Development framework (2020–2025). Reports from Roszdravnadzor indicate that over 50 pilot institutions in regions such as Moscow and Tatarstan achieved cost reductions of 15–20% by 2024.
The federal Labour Productivity project complements these efforts by offering free staff training, access to best management practices, and long-term expert support. The conference aims to showcase how these tools can be applied across different sectors. The conference will provide a platform for sharing practical solutions and networking. Healthcare and social service providers will have the chance to learn from real-world examples of efficiency improvements. Free resources and expert guidance will also be available through the federal project's ongoing support.
