Sri Lanka's veteran left-arm spinner, Inoka Ranaweera, will lead her country's spin attack in the upcoming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. Ranaweera has amassed an impressive 80 wickets in as many One Day International (ODI) matches.

Meanwhile, in the batting department, Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu is a force to be reckoned with. With 509 runs in 14 World Cup games and over 3,800 ODI runs to her name, Athapaththu will be a key player for Sri Lanka.

Pakistan's left-arm spinner Nashra Sandhu has also made a significant impact in the ODI format, with 98 wickets in 72 ODI matches. Bangladesh's Nahida Akter has rapidly risen into the world's top 10 with 69 wickets in 54 ODIs.

England's Nat Sciver-Brunt, currently one of the world's premier ODI batters, will also be a crucial player for her team. Sciver-Brunt, who is England's all-format captain, has 4092 ODI runs at a sizzling average of 46.50.

South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt boasts a staggering 4519 runs in just 107 ODI games. Sidra Amin, Pakistan's most consistent ODI batter, has nearly 2000 ODI runs with four centuries to her name. Nigar Sultana, the captain of Bangladesh, has scored over 1,300 ODI runs and leads the side for the second consecutive time in World Cups.

Marizanne Kapp, South Africa all-rounder, has 167 ODI wickets and 32 wickets in 4 World Cups. Fatima Sana, Pakistan captain, has 63 wickets and close to 600 runs in ODIs.
