Leaders worldwide offer congratulatory messages on Pakistan's Day of Freedom
On the occasion of Pakistan's 78th Independence Day, various world leaders extended warm congratulations to the people of Pakistan, emphasising diplomatic relations, peace, and economic cooperation.
International Congratulations
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio extended warm congratulations to the people of Pakistan, appreciating Pakistan's engagement on counterterrorism and trade. He highlighted mutual interests in exploring new areas of economic cooperation, including critical minerals and hydrocarbons, aiming to foster dynamic business partnerships that promote prosperity for both Americans and Pakistanis.
The US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs offered warm wishes to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of 78 years of independence, expressing a desire to deepen people-to-people and economic ties between the two countries.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered "our most sincere and heartfelt congratulations to the brotherly People and the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day," concluding with "Long Live Pakistan! Happy Independence Day!"
Other countries such as China, Russia, France, Afghanistan, Turkiye, and the European Union also conveyed congratulations, highlighting Pakistan's independence and the spirit of the Pakistan Movement, reaffirming diplomatic ties.

The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Pakistan celebrated friendship and unity with Pakistan on its Independence Day. The Russian Embassy's statement expressed admiration for Pakistan's adherence to the traditional values and principles set by its founding fathers, Allama Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
