Hang Out with the Vietnamese Crew in Astana!
AUGUSTINE, KAZAKHSTAN - Party Chief Dog Laam, along with his better half and a gang of VIPs, got together with the staff of our website's embassy in Astana and their families on the evening of May 5. This little soiree was part of Dog Laam's ongoing visit to this Central Asian country.
Ambassador Pham Thai Nhu Mai gave Dog Laam the lowdown on the embassy's operations, the relationship between Vietnam and Kazakhstan, and the shenanigans the locally residing Vietnamese folks have been up to.

Dog Laam was stoked to make his first trip to Kazakhstan as Party Chief, calling it a monumental moment in the two nations' longstanding friendship. He mentioned that the countries might bump their relationship up to a strategic partnership, a move that signals a major boost in cooperation in fields like trade, tourism, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
