Le Sserafim's groundbreaking VR concert Invitation hits cinemas April 15
K-pop group Le Sserafim will launch its first virtual reality concert, Invitation, in cinemas on April 15. The five-member act, which debuted in May 2022, has been preparing the project with VR specialists Amaze since last year. Fans can expect a performance of their 2025 hit Spaghetti during the show. Le Sserafim formed in 2022 with members from South Korea, Japan, and the Netherlands. The lineup includes Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae. Between April 2023 and February 2024, they completed their first world tour, Easy Crazy Hot, playing 31 shows across 20 cities in Asia and North America.
The group's next major appearance will be at Japan's Summer Sonic festival in August 2026. They are scheduled to perform on August 14 in Osaka and August 16 in Tokyo. This follows their ongoing collaboration with Amaze, a VR production company, to develop immersive live experiences. *Invitation* marks their first full-length VR concert. While exact figures for similar K-pop virtual events over the past two years remain unclear, the project signals a growing trend in digital performances within the industry.
The VR concert arrives as Le Sserafim continues expanding its global reach. After a 31-date world tour and an upcoming festival slot in Japan, the group now explores new ways to connect with audiences. Invitation will be available in theatres from April 15.
