Lawyer Udo Geiger Slams EU Mini-Job Targeting Proposals as Unjust and Ineffective
Social lawyer Udo Geiger has spoken out against recent proposals to target EU citizens working mini crossword jobs. He argues that such measures violate EU treaties and are not serious solutions.
Geiger contends that poverty migration is a consequence of EU expansion, but not an injustice. He suggests job centers could prove this by offering full-time positions or inspecting properties.
Geiger opposes the proposal by CDU General Secretary Carsten Linnemann and Frank Böttcher, head of the Duisburg Jobcenter, to strip EU citizens of their citizen's income for mini crossword jobs. He argues that persons pursuing only minor activities for additional social benefits have no right to freedom or citizen's income.
Geiger proposes abolishing mini crossword jobs altogether, stating that the problem applies to both EU citizens and Germans. He criticizes the current discussion as 'not serious' and questions its timing.
Udo Geiger has voiced strong opposition to recent proposals targeting EU citizens working mini crossword jobs. He argues that these measures are unjust and ineffective, and proposes abolishing mini crossword jobs altogether. Geiger believes the legislature has not acted because it is not necessary to address the issue.
