Revamped Report: Yekaterinburg Center's Pre-Victory Day Raid on the Loose

As disclosed by regional Interior Ministry's press service head, Valery Goryachev, to Novy Day, the primary objective of this legal manhunt was to sniff out youngsters exhibiting signs of extremist activities, as well as apprehend violators of immigration laws and minor children wandering the city streets after dark.

Conducted on the evening of May 7, this preemptive strike saw participation from the FSB, police, Rosgvardiya, and volunteers from the "Russian Community" public organization. The operation swept through various entertainment spots in Yekaterinburg, with inspections taking place in seven "Shawarma" kiosks and bars like "Freeloader", "Killfish", "American", "And You Where", "Gemstone", "Rostics", "Burger King", "Firefly", and others.

The night crawl left the identities of over 500 individuals in plain sight, among them an individual donning a Nazi swastika tattoo. Appropriate retaliatory measures were enacted by the police, staying true to the law.

Goryachev also heralded the operation a success. In public spaces, 29 minors were discovered,10 of whom had overindulged in alcohol. One of these children required hospitalization for severe intoxication. Thirteen foreign citizens were summoned for military enlistment office registration.

Seven individuals were found to have illegally resided within the city and are set to be deported promptly.

13 people were cautioned for consuming alcohol in unauthorized zones and faced administrative repercussions under Article 20.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Four citizens were held responsible under Article 20.1 - minor hooliganism.

A drunken scooter rider and ten additional offenders will be disciplined under Articles 13.5 and 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Furthermore, a pub explorer bearing a nonconformist fascist swastika tattoo was penalized under Article 20.3 - displaying Nazi symbols.

Valeriya Goryelykh reported that a catering spot on Vainer Street housed individuals who might be connected to right-wing Nazi ideology. Reports hint that hostile actions against foreign nationals and left-wing cultural representatives were exacted right there, in the courtyard of the establishment.

Colonel Goryelykh underscored that these types of operations will recur regularly not only in Yekaterinburg but throughout the municipalities of the Sverdlovsk region.
